My inconclusive Ivory-bill picture. (Thanks for enhancing this picture, David Luneau.)
May or may not be worth noting that IBWO kents MOST resemble the 'kents' of RED-breasted Nuthatches (which probably aren't present in AR. in May), and somewhat less-so White-breasteds. And of course Blue Jays also mimic the call very closely.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the comment. I'm aware of the call of the Red-Brested Nuthatch, and it is not what I heard. I have heard Blue Jays mimic the kent call in person.
